I hope you are doing well, and that 2012 is going great for you. The Heard how was great, I won a ribbon for my plique a jour Lady Slipper orchid pin. Thank you to everyone who stopped by. I'd like to invite you to Native Treasures, May 26-27, (Memorial Day weekend) a fun show in Santa Fe, NM, at the Convention Center downtown. It benenfits the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture. We artists donate 25% of our sales. Pictured is a plique a jour cicada brooch, $3400. (Silver, gold, hand carved lapis, black star sapphires) I'll also have a coin silver, hand forged concho pendant, $1200, a wild rose brooch, $1100, a Fox Turq. dragonfly pin, $1800, and a chased "Ooti" (acorn) cuff, $1800. And many earrings! Hope to see you there.
I'm still filming for my documentry, I think it'll focus more on plique a jour, as that is so difficult and hard to explain. Film is awesome that way.
I am still making cat themed jewelry to benefit the feral colony near my studio. I never gave any thought to feral cats before, but it's a problem that can be easily dealt with if many people chipped in and if everyone fixed their pets.
I'm finally getting caught up on orders! There's still a several month wait for major pieces, however. Smaller pieces I can get out faster. If you ordered and have not heard from me, please e-mail. Things fall through the cracks now and then.
Take care and best wishes to all. Thank you for your business.
